resident Dorothy Irene Clement 81 died March 10 2001 at her home in Sacramento Calif She was bom Nov 16 1919 in Seattle and lived in Rainier from the early 1930s to 1955 She graduated from Rainier High School in 1938 Survivors include a daughter Dorene Clement of Sacramento two granddaughters Gwyn Reese and Anne Askin both of Sacramento and a great-granddaughter Preceding her in death was a daughter Caroline Ann Clement Robert Larson Due to information received Mr father was incorrectly identified in paper Robert Lawrence Larson 78 of Kelso died March 24 2001 at the Hospice Care Center He was bom Aug 25 1922 in Kelso to Charles and Anna (Meier) Larson Deaths Reynolds Maude 93 Longview died Tuesday at the Hospice Care Center Cascade Northwest Funeral Chapel in Longview for seven years coming from Philomath Oi Mr Moore eqjoyed woodworking fishing and studying the Bible He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Moore in 1997 Survivors include a stepson James Hardesty of Kelso a daughter Bonnie Greatorex of Longview two stepdaughters Patricia Hoiness of Kelso and Barbara Hardest of Tempe Ariz a brother Glenn Moore of Lodi Calif and 14 grandchildrea At his request no She was bom March 18 1905 in Meredin Iowa to Stuard and Freida (Frerk) Ingersoll She received her early education in Markus Iowa and later graduated from Alexandria High School in South Dakota in 1924 She moved to Longview in 1993 Mrs Seacat worked as a legal secretary until marrying Judge Walter Seacat July 5 1930 She was an active member of the United Methodist Church and of the Celestial Chapter of Eastern Star in Alexandria She was a creative and gifted seamstress and eryoyed knitting crocheting ceramics and oil painting She was an active outdoor person and hunted pheasants and fished She also eryoyed swimming and golf She was greatly loved by her family charge of arrangements Harold Workman Harold Workman 74 of Kalama died March 21 2001 at the Hospice Care Center He as bom Sept 20 1926 in Illinois to Mina and James Workman and had lived in the local area for 40 years Mr Workman served in the Marines during W'orld W'ar II and worked for the local No 21 He as a member of the Mason 32nd and York Rite He eryoyed fishing and family functions He is survived by his wife of 38 years Marian (Mary) Petterson his mother in Lomita Calif two sons Harold Workman and David Workman both of Kalama a daughter Patty Bruins of Marshallville Mo a brother Robert Workman of Medford Ore two sisters Rebecca Stogsdill of Reno Nev and Carol Allison of Lomita and two grandchildren Preceding him in death were three brothers Jim Bill and Fred and two grandchildren Sheny and Max A celebration of his life will be held at 1 pm Saturday at ILWU Hall 627 14th Ave in Longview The Rev Bob Giles Sr will officiate Arrangements are by Green Hills Memorial Gardens Edwin Olson Lifelong Longview resident Edwin Melvin Olson 66 died March 24 2001 at home He was bom June 23 1934 in Longview to Edwin and Elsie (Rowley) Olson Mr Olson served in the Naval Reserves and worked for the railroad for many years retiring from Burlington Northern Railroad He was a devoted and active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church He eryoyed bowling constructing model cars traveling railroad history and being with friends Survivors include two sisters Viola Whitman of Fairmont Mina and Geneva Olson of Longview a niece a nephew and many great-nieces and great-nephews A funeral service will be held at 1 1 am Tuesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev Wayne Duchow officiating A luncheon will be held after the service Entombment will take place at Longview Memorial Park The viewing will be from noon to 5 pm Friday and from 10 am to 2 pm Saturday at Steele ChapeL In lieu of flowers memorial contributions Center He was bom March 16 1921 at the Benson Logging Camp on Swedetown Road in Clatskanie to Valentine Holoway and Luana Viola (Payne) Franklin He graduated from Clatskanie High school in 1938 Mr Franklin served in the Army during World War receiving the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal Good Conduct Medal and American Defense Service Medal He worked for the government in surplus sales of deactivated equipment for many years and returned to Clatskanie in 1970 He served as municipal court judge in Clatskanie for many years retiring in 1991 He was an honorary member of the Beaver Boat Club and was an avid reader mineralogist and fisherman collecting fishing gear books and memorabilia He will be remembered for his kindness and caring and his favorite statement stay pretty He is survived by a niece Rita Rae Johnson of Joplin Mo a nephew Curtis Willson of Clatskanie a dear friend and caregiver LaVelle Fogel of Clatskanie and a host of fishing buddies and friends A celebration Wash and lived in Toledo until die early 1950s Mrs Wallace was a member of the Neighborhood Assemblies of God Cluuch and was employed by Woodland Park Hospital until her retirement She moved to Portland 10 where she resided until her death She married William Wallace Nov 1 1 19' 50 He preceded her in death Oct 17 1960 1 Survivors include two daughters Darlene Hoge of West Linn Ore and They had 10 children and lived in Brownsville and the Sweet Home area She was a homemaker and a raspberry farmer in Crawfordsville After her divorce she completed her education and graduated with honors from the University of Oregon at the age of 56 She worked in the field of social services for several years and served with the Peace Corps in Jamaica from 1990 to 1992 She loved books music nature and her family She eryoyed playing Scrabble swing dancing garden landscaping and building bonfires She believed in the active pursuit of knowledge and traveled to several foreign countries during her lifetime She ill be remembered for her adventurous spirit wisdom and wit She is survived by her 10 children Donna Christensen of Bellevue Dee Christensen of Olympia Dave Christensen of school in Iron Mountain Mich and served in the Army air forces during World War as a member of tiie 483rd Bomber Group in Italy After the war he settled in Washington and farmed for most of his working years raising grapes in the Yakima Valley He also worked in constructioa He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Yakima and a member of the Pasco Unioa He enjoyed fishing hunting and spending time with his family He married his wife Donna Danielson July 30 1947 She survives him at home Also surviving are a son Mark Danielson of Cathlamet a daughter Kristyn Danielson of
